Filmed on 23 August 2015 this inflight video is of the very wet takeoff at Dublin Airport followed by a brilliant view over London on arrival to London Heathrow Airport. The flight was my first aboard and Airbus A321, EI-CPH. Please do check out the views over London, the video was filmed in 4K UltraHD and the definition over the city is amazing, considering we are so high up and still travelling fast. The shard, Thames, London Eye, Houses of Parliament and more are very visible.
Filmed on 12 Sept 2015, a very nice, rare and special arrival on a one off visit to London Stansted is Airbus A330 A6-AFA of Etihad in the stunning Abu Dahbi 2015 livery. Also in this video is an MD11 of Western Global (formerly Nordic Global), FedEx Boeing 777 and Mid East Jet Boeing 757.
I have recently been experimenting with 4K UltraHD video and this is one of the results, so I do hope you enjoy. The video is of some very smart looking Aer Lingus aircraft at Dublin Airport. Included are EI-DVM in the Retro colours and EI-DEO in the special scheme supporting Irish Rugby.
Filmed in Summer 2015 at London Stansted Airport this video catches some less frequent visitors including a raft of Qatar aircraft in the shape of A7-AFE Airbus A310, a very very wet arrival for 777 A7-BAI, but a lovely sunny departure for the new, regular cargo A330 in the shape of A7-AFF. These along with Cargolux 747-400 LX-TCV, and some classic 737's from Tailwind and Air Explore complete the lineup. I hope you enjoy watching.
On June 20 2015 London Stansted Airport welcomed the first scheduled cargo flights from China with China Southern Airlines. The carrier is operating Boeing 777's twice per week from this date. This video captures the first arrival of B-2071 complete with the Fire Service water canon salute. Also in this video is A7-AAM a BD700 of Qatar and a short takeoff Titan Airways Boeing 767-300, G-POWD, operating for British Airways; a few more aircraft are in the titles
This video is of the takeoff from Dublin Airport aboard Aer Lingus Airbus A320, check out the fly over the airport and just about see some Ryanair landings and a recently returned EI-DEO back to Aer Lingus but still in Little Red livery. This is followed by arrival / landing at London Heathrow Airport complete with taxi to gate. The taxi at Heathrow includes many aircraft including Virgin Atlantic 787-9s and Little Red aircraft. As ever, I hope you enjoy watching
Filmed at London Stansted Airport, this video includes my first shots of Flybe's Dash 8 Q400's operating on their new routes from the airport. I was fortunate to get both G-ECOO in the classic white livery and G-FLBQ in the new purple livery. Also in this video are Air Explore Boeing 737-800 and Smartlynx Airbus A320 both operating for Ryanair. There's an Air X Charter Boeing 737-500 plus a 737-800 with split scimitar winglets for Thomson. Finally Thomas Cook Airbus A321 in the new livery. As always I hope you enjoy the variety, I always enjoy the comments, thank you for watching, supporting and sharing my videos.
Filmed at London Stansted Airport this video begins with a short title sequence of various MD11's including Martinair, FedEx, Nordic Global and of course, Lufthansa Cargo. Lufthansa has been operating a number of weekly cargo charters to Stansted and this was a great opportunity to catch a couple of their very smart looking trijets. I hope you enjoy.
This video is of my departure from London Heathrow to Shannon in Ireland on Aer Lingus Flight EI381 on 19 March 2015. The video not only includes the takeoff and landing, but a number of other shots too. Note that the video is different from my usual aviation videos as it was shot from the inside. I hope you will enjoy seeing Concorde, Airbus A380s of BA, Malaysian, Singapore and Qantas along with Air India's Dreamliner. You may also catch glimpses of Royal Brunei, BA and Virgin 787's. The video is initially set to music but from the takeoff role it's natural sound. Check out the Air Contractors / Aer Lingus Boeing 757 at Shannon along with Omni Air and Nordwind 767s. As always I hope you enjoy.
Filmed (handheld) at London Southend Airport in March 2015, this video features Stobart Air (formerly Aer Arann) ATR72-500, EI-REM operating in full flybe colours. This video begins with a title sequence of various shots of the aircraft from different angles before going outside to see a close up departure. Note that some of the video is set to music. I hope you enjoy the closeups and a very big thank you to both of the pilots for waving at the camera, MUCH appreciated :-)
On my trip to Dublin I was very lucky to have 2 rare sights, a factory fresh paint job on a Condor Thomas Cook Boeing 757-300 and an Ethiopian Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The latter was in on a promotional flight as part of route launches. All of the footage is handheld, following an Aer Lingus Airbus A330 departure you'll see both the 757-300 departing and the arrival, taxi and departure of the 787. As always thank you for taking time to watch, I do hope you enjoy the views.
