Sailplane splash in with gear down

Seaplane flying is the most beautifull thing in aviation, but it's also a very demanding passion. This DHC-3 single Otter crashed in the Biscarrosse seaplane festival because the landing gear wasn't retracted. Nobody was injured, and they escape the plane safely within1 minute. The pilot is a very experimented captain with more than 17 000 flying hours (if I remember). I post this video for only one reason : safety. I hope that seaplane pilots will think about it twice next time. It's a sad video, but with a happy end! Go every two years to Biscarrosse seaplane festival in France, it's a wonderfull moment during 4 days!
