British Airways A319 emergency landing at Heathrow
May 24, 2013: This British Airways A319 this morning made an emergency landing at London Heathrow Airport. It seems that this was caused by bird strikes causing fire to the right engine. Also the left engine was damage by bird strikes. Crew managed to land safely and to perform an emergency evacuation on the RWY. That's the reason why today the runway was closed for few hours at London Heathrow airport.

Heathrow Airport Aircraft - New American Airlines AA Boeing 777, Emirates, Malaysian Airbus A380
Handheld at Heathrow - this video as you may have guessed was filmed on a handheld camera - no tripod. Ordinarily this isn't something I would recommend, however filming at Heathrow is very difficult indeed! This video begins with a Virgin Atlantic Airbus A330 departing, followed by a short title sequence, after that it is back to back depatures and arrivals at the UK's busiest airport. I've included a shot of the first #newamerican airlines Boeing 777 in the new livery that I've seen. Along with A380s of Emirates & Malaysian, Aer Lingus, TAM, Tarom, Titan, British Airways, United, Royal Jordanian and others also feature! World Airways McDonnell Douglas MD11 (Strange Engine Sound on rotation)
This video includes a pretty rare view at London Stansted - A World Air MD-11. This aircraft departed for Ostend, but listen to the engine sound, more like a helicopter! Also includes some biz jets including Lord Sugar's Legacy 650 a Beech 90 of Jota Aviation and a few more. It was a very difficult time to film due to the freezing temperatures but I hope you enjoy.

Antonov 124 Cargolux Boeing747-8 Wet & Windy BA World Cargo 7478 Departure London Stansted Airport
Filmed on 21st November 2012 I was fortunate to capture an Antonov 124 outsized cargo aircraft at London Stansted - the first time I've ever seen or filmed one. The weather rapidly deteriorated, although it held long enough for a rain free departure; the same cannot be said for the Corporate A320 and BA World Cargo 747-8 departure. This video also captures another first for my, a departure of a Cargolux Boeing 747-8F this was taken a few weeks earlier on 4 November 2012 in much better conditions. Boeing 737-300 Titan Airways Landing & Take Off at Airport Bern-Belp - Liverpool FC aboard
Liverpool FC flew to Switzerland and landed on time at the Airport Bern-Belp. A Boeing 737-33A of Titan Airways was chartered for this flight. Such a big plane is rarely seen at the Swiss regional Airport Bern-Belp but a welcome special occasion for many plane spotters. Enjoy the close-up filming of the aircraft. The reverse thrust caused an awesome engine sound. The propper reason for this visit was the very popular football match on 20th September at Stade de Suisse which was sold out with 31'120 spectators. Liverpool FC played against BSC Young Boys. This was without a doubt a spectacular macht and Liverpool won an eight-goal Europe League thriller at Young Boys (5:3). The Boeing 737-33A G-POWC of Titan Airways brought the Liverpool Football Club also know as The Reds from the Airport Bern-Belp back home to Liverpool later that same evening. The take off at night, all those lights at the airport and the great, awesome engine sound was an impressive moment. The engines spooled-up so nicely. Enjoy the clip! Dublin Airport Logo Jets - Arik Air A330, Cityjet Leinster, British Airways Dove, Aer Lingus Retro
Filmed in August 2012 whilst on my summer holidays to Ireland this video features a range of logojets at Dublin Airport. The video begins however with an Arik Air Airbus A330, which had been undergoing maintenance or painting. Also in the video are firsts for me, the blue CityJet colours of the Leinster Rugby Team, Aer Lingus Retro EI-DVM, Scandianvian SAS MD87 in Denmark sports colours, Onur Air Airbus A321 with 20 years markings. Additionally I've also captured the BA Dove livery up close - on an ex-BMI Airbus and also the Lufthansa retrojet Airbus A321. As always, I hope you enjoy watching.
