Emergency Landing PIA attempted hijack London Stansted
This video was filmed on Friday 24 May 2013 at London Stansted Airport. The weekend of 24th - 27th May 2013 was to be of added interest to aviation enthusiasts as a number of additional aircraft & airlines were due in, bringing passengers for the Champions League football final. However the day got off to an unusual start as in the early morning rush London Heathrow's 2 runways were closed due to an incident with a BA Airbus. This resulted in a number of interesting diversions to Stansted. As the morning progressed, and a number of the Champions League arrivals came in, there was a sudden change in airport movements as all traffic was stopped pending an emergency arrival of Manchester bound Pakistan International Boeing 777 AP-BID. According to reports (note that this story was broadcast locally and nationally in the UK) there was an attempt by 2 individuals to gain access to the cockpit. This video captures the aircraft's arrival and sights and sounds surrounding the event. If you listen to the audio you will hear the RAF Typhoon's overhead, these were scrambled to accompany the aircraft in. As with previous emergency videos I have posted, this video serves to show the professionalism of all involved from airport, control tower, emergency services etc in the safe and secure transport of passengers. Thankfully no one was hurt of injured.

Austrian Arrows Silkway Cargolux Spirit of Easyjet and more Stansted Airport Planespotting
Filmed on April 6 2013 this video from London Stansted includes a number of new visitors in the shape of a Cargolux Boeing 747-400, Silkways Boeing 767 with winglets, EasyJet Airbus A319 with "Spirit of EasyJet" nose decal, along with a ski charter movement by Austrian Arrows and a Fokker F100. Very nice to see some different liveries and a good variety of aircraft types at London's Stansted Airport.

This video includes a lot of landings of a wide range of aircraft types and includes footage that I took some time ago but never got around to using. The video begins with a British Airways Boeing 767 and after another short title sequence, you will see Fokker F100, McDonnell Douglas MD82, Boeing 777, 747's Airbus A320's, A319 and A321 from a wide range of airlines. Heathrow Airport Aircraft - New American Airlines AA Boeing 777, Emirates, Malaysian Airbus A380
Handheld at Heathrow - this video as you may have guessed was filmed on a handheld camera - no tripod. Ordinarily this isn't something I would recommend, however filming at Heathrow is very difficult indeed! This video begins with a Virgin Atlantic Airbus A330 departing, followed by a short title sequence, after that it is back to back depatures and arrivals at the UK's busiest airport. I've included a shot of the first #newamerican airlines Boeing 777 in the new livery that I've seen. Along with A380s of Emirates & Malaysian, Aer Lingus, TAM, Tarom, Titan, British Airways, United, Royal Jordanian and others also feature! As always I hope you enjoy, and please bear in mind this was filmed handheld unlike my other vids :-) Thank you for watching.

US Air Force Boeing 757, Gulfstream 550, Hercules, MD11 at London Stansted Oman 747 A40-OMN
This video includes some rare military movements at London Stansted, along with executive aircraft and some more familiar visitors. Beginning with FedEX MD11, the video moves to a short title sequence before a military coloured Royal Air Force of Oman Lockheed C-130J-30 Hercules rotates from Runway 04. Boeing 747-400 Omani One A40-OMN then lands, followed by A US Government Gulfstream 550 departing to Andrews AFB. A US Government Boeing 757 is also seen departing. Both of the US aircraft coincided with Senator John Kerry's visit to the UK, Europe and Middle East in early March 2013. Note this video was uploaded some time after those visits had taken place.

Germanwings New Livery 2013 at London Stansted with Titan Airways 757 Air Berlin Q400 FedEX MD11
This video includes my very first real life view and capture of Germanwings' new livery. Beginning with the great sound of a FedEx McDonnell Douglas MD-11 arriving, this video goes into a short title sequence accompanied by music and engines sounds before showing the arrival of Germanwings Airbus A319 in the new "Lufthansa Group" livery. I've also included other aircraft movements including "classic" Germanwings filmed days earlier, a Titan Airways 757 arrival, and an Air Berlin Bombardier Dash8 Q400 complete the mix.
