USAF KC-135A Abnormal Landing Configuration

1987. This was KC-135A 57-1499 from Castle AFB, CA. The landing took place either at March AFB ir Edwards AFB. This was an abnormal landing gear landing with the nose gear uplocked. When it came back to Castle a few weeks later, a new nose gear was installed, locked into the down position. The nose gear doors were gone, of course, and the gear compartment was scorched. It was months later before repairs were finished and it flew another mission.

Second Boeing 787 ANA landing

The second Being 787 aircraft took to the skies Tuesday morning.The jetliner, painted with All Nippon Airways colors, took off just after 9 a.m. from Paine Field and landed at Boeing Field in Seattle about 11:30 a.m.
